Lester Wright's Family has agreed to donate a paddle wheel boat he created, in order to preserve it and use it in local events like the tie raft re-enactment and holiday parades. A committee of the Doniphan Neighborhood Assistance Program (DNAP) will be working on this project during the upcoming year. A priority for the committee is to secure a permanent public site to display the boat.
